Mediterranea Design designed the restyling of the new terrace of a Hotel in Amalfi Coast.
We created a project that combines the unique style of the hotel with the unmistakable shapes and colors of the Gulf of Salerno, tracing a design that highlights the value of the Amalfi Coast.
The sinuous shapes of vases, seats, and sofas are designed to perfectly fuse PLA, a sustainable plastic made from corn starch, and wood, with light colors and composite textures (the result of printed layers and wood grain) that recall the typical geometries of Amalfi Coast ceramics.
The combination of materials and textures creates a unique and elegant look that is both modern and traditional. The PLA is lightweight and durable, making it a perfect choice for outdoor furniture. The wood adds a touch of warmth and sophistication.
